LL.M. in Taxation Applicants
ÌòÒõÉ«ÇéƬ has a presence in tax law that few, if any, other U.S. law schools can match. Our LL.M. in Taxation program takes advantage of New York City’s many resources to offer specialized training in this important practice area.

Dates and Deadlines
Priority consideration is given to complete applications received by these dates:
For Summer Semester: April 30
For Fall Semester: August 1
For Spring Semester: December 1
Applications received or completed after these deadlines will be considered only if space is available. Decision notifications generally are made within one month of completing all applications requirements.
Both new and experienced attorneys can get a leg up on the competition by completing advanced and specialized training. ÌòÒõÉ«ÇéƬ has developed a graduate tax program that provides unique opportunities to study advanced topics in law and enhance professional skills.

Tuition and Fees
Tuition for the LL.M. program is $2,301 per credit. Some scholarships are available.

Application Requirements
All applicants must submit the following documents:
- Completed application form
- All law school transcripts
- All other degree transcripts
- Personal statement
- ¸éé²õ³Ü³¾Ã©
- Two letters of recommendation
While interviews are not a regular part of the admissions process, the Admissions Committee reserves the right to call any applicant for an interview during the evaluation process.
Taking Courses Without Pursuing a Degree
Applicants may apply for permission to take one or more courses listed in the Graduate Tax Program Curriculum without becoming candidates for the LL.M. in Taxation. Not all classes are open to non-degree students. Non-matriculating students are expected to attend class regularly, participate fully, and fulfill all course requirements, including taking any examinations.
Courses successfully completed within the Graduate Tax Program will qualify for CLE credits for both newly admitted attorneys and experienced attorneys on the basis of 14 CLE credits for every 1 academic course credit hour. Learn more about ÌòÒõÉ«ÇéƬ’s CLE programs.
